Unchanged layer structure after nesting
Imagine you are designing acrylic, wooden or steel goods (e.g., character stands, keychains) or sublimation printing clothes in Illustrator. With AI Nest-Pro, you can nest the objects while preserving the layer structure, which helps you easily move onto the following cutting process with CNC or some cutting machine.

FAQ
Q. Can nesting be done while preserving the "pattern fill" of the object?
A. Yes. When you reproduce and nest an object with a pattern fill, the same pattern will be preserved and nested in the designated number.
Q. Objects are not nested efficiently, leaving a large blank space.
A. Please select "Outline" in the AI Nest-Pro panel and try nesting.
Q. How long does the nesting process take?
A. It depends on your computer's processing performance. We recommend that you make your environment as fast as possible, your computer preferably having an 8+core CPU and 32GB RAM for more comfortable use. Since AI Nest-Pro calculates the placement of objects by the "Rotation Angle" value in the AI Nest-Pro panel, the smaller the value is set, the longer the processing time may take. We thus suggest that you use a smaller rotation value when the objects are mixed up with various shapes and sizes while you set the value to 45 degrees or more if the objects are rectangular or nearly so in shape.
