The texts are garbled.

Texts garbled

Texts garbled is always troublesome. It most likey occur when the plug-in does not install properly. Re-install can solve problems mostly.
Here is a summary of the solution.

Try re-install

First of all, please close Adobe Illustrator completely before re-install. You can download an appropriate product and version from the link below :
https://baby-universe.net/support/download_subsc/
Please ensure that you may select the correct one. Downloading an unmatched version often causes further errors.

If you are on Windows, please make sure :
- Copy and paste the zip file to your PC’s desktop
- Unzip the zip file by right click

Now you can restart Adobe Illustrator and check whether the plug-in is in English or not.

Check ini. files to solve text garbled

This would not happen if the plug-in has been installed correctly, however if the garbled characters still occur, please check "ini files" of the plug-in.

For BPT-Pro and AINest-Pro

For Mac users

You can find ini files :
Go to Document > Adobe > Illustrator > Prefs > Plug-in ini.files (eg : BPT-Pro.ini)

For Windows users

You can find ini files :
This PC > Document > Adobe > Illustrator >Prefs > Plug-in ini.files (eg : BPT-Pro.ini)

Check ini. file

When you open “BPT-Pro.ini” with text. please check " language".

It shoule be :
language = ENGLISH
If it mentions "JAPANESE" , you can overwirte to "ENGLISH".

For EXDXF-Pro

For Mac users

The same as BPT-Pro and AINest-Pro.
Go to Document > Adobe> Illustrator >Prefs > EXDXF-Pro > export / inport

For Windows users

This PC > Document > Adobe > Illustrator >Prefs > EXDXF-Pro > export / inport

Check cnf. / fct. files

Each export and inport file contains cnf / fct file. It should mention

language = ENGLISH
If it states "JAPANESE" you can overwirte to "ENGLISH".

If you still see garbled texts

It can apply for Mac only, in case you still find garbled texts, please kinldy check :

Apple mark > System preference > Security & Privacy > Privacy Tab > Files and Folders > Adobe Illustrator 202X ( your version) >

Please check whether “ document” folder is checked or not. If not, please put “ check “ and restart your PC.
